Sr. Administrative Director, GI Services

Req # 24389 Seeking a dynamic individual whose primary responsibilities include the strategic leadership and operational guidance of multiple practices as well as oversight of all procedural areas in the GI service line.  These include general gastroenterology, hepatobiliary, and advanced endoscopy services. This individual will directly oversee 15+ providers spanning 10+ locations.  Strategic planning at the practice, market, and organizational level and staying abreast of current developments are key expectations for this role. The Senior Administrative Director will develop education programs, allocate and assign duties to subordinates, monitor the activities and daily operations of all practices within his/her realm of responsibility.  Position Summary: Responsible for the strategic and operational management of all business and clinical functions within assigned area.           Oversees all activities in support of the organization's mission to provide the highest quality patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner           Meets with practice physicians and advanced practitioners monthly to review financial performance and key indicators. Where necessary, resets performance expectations and monitors with Medical Director           Interacts on a routine basis with each physician to ensure their practice business needs are met and: o    Resolves any medical/administrative problems. o    Keeps lines of communication open between practice staff and administration. o    Ensures a high level of communication with Physicians, Hospital Administration, and Practice Administration.           Works with CKHN President and Department Chair/Division Chief to develop and implement market strategies for Physician acquisition, employment or recruitment. Assists CKHN CFO with development of pro formas for employment and growth opportunities           Identifies Physician or Practice targets to increase market share. Identifies practice/business development opportunities to increase the practices' market share           Accountability for maintaining the budgeted and actual FTE's for each practice.  Addressing variances and managing the FTE's for the practice in conjunction with the work productivity of the practice           Accountable to assure that all month end activities are completed on a timely basis including charge entry and billing where appropriate. Responds to questions regarding month end close as needed           Effectively on boards new Practices, Physicians, and Staff through collaboration with various departments, bridging gaps in private vs. network philosophies           Develops cost/benefit analyses of new patient care services and equipment to maximize patient revenues           Performs financial and operational reviews, overseeing expenditures, staffing and overtime, marketing/volume building, and various operational indicators           Develops and oversees implementation and administration of internal practice policies and procedures in conjunction with Physical Services standard policies and procedures. Interprets applicable laws, rules and regulations and ensures the practice is in compliance with them           Ensures regulatory compliance Education and Training:   Bachelor's degree in Business     Administration or related field required, with an emphasis in Healthcare     administration preferred. Master's degree in related field preferred. LEAN/Six-Sigma experience     preferred. Certification of Fellowship in     MGMA and/or ACHE preferred.  Experience: Minimum five to seven years     previous practice management experience required; may oversee up to three     or more practice administrators. Minimum of three to five years     of experience in GI Services strongly preferred. Physician or Group Strategic     planning experience required, including ability to build volumes, open new     sites, and engage community. Effective working knowledge of     health care financial management required, specifically medical practice     accounting, and third party reimbursement issues. Experience managing budgets of     $10MM - $15MM. Demonstrated experience using     business analytics to review, understand, and present data to senior     management, in support of business decisions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of organizational     policies, procedures, systems and objectives. Knowledge of fiscal management     techniques. Knowledge of health care     administration systems. Knowledge of governmental     regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to use various computer     systems and applications. Ability to exercise initiative,     sound judgment, and problem-solving techniques in the decision-making     process. Ability to develop and maintain     effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients     and the public. Demonstrated communication and     interpersonal skills. Demonstrated influencing and     negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to recruit,     manage, train, and coach staff Apply

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
